Orlando Pirates bids farewell to Serbian Coach amidst MTN8 competition

Orlando Pirates found themselves facing another disappointing loss in the MTN8 quarter finals. The Buccaneers will no longer be part of the competition after their loss, as they did not score any goals in the match with Highlands Park winning by one goal.

The match came after former coach Sredojevic’s resignation and the impact could be felt throughout the game. However, it’s been quite a disappointing season for Pirates as they’ve lost most of their matches in the MTN8 games. Pirates failed to score for the third time around match across all competitions having drawn blanks against Green Eagles, SuperSport United and now Highlands Park.

The Buccaneers put up a fight against the energetic Highlands Park who made sure to keep their eyes on the goal throughout the game. It wasn’t all smooth sailing for Highlands who had a few injuries in the team.

Highlands Park are set to continue to fight for their title for the finals at the MTN8 games.
