Springboks win Rugby Championship

For the first time in 10 years, the Springboks won the Rugby championship against Argentina at the Loftus stadium in Pretoria. The “Boks” thrashed Argentina 46 – 13 after its fall in the second half.

South Africa was leading 8- 3 during the first half which immediately displayed the team’s high chances of winning. Even though the Boks were leading during the first half, it was not an easy one as Argentina strongly held down its own. The two teams were battling it out for the win until Argentina eventually collapsed in the second half.

Siya Kolisi made his Test return from a knee injury and played for 52 minutes. Kolisi is now expected to lead the Boks at the Rugby World Cup in Japan. The successful game played and the winning habit that the Boks created will take that confidence into the World Cup in Japan.
