Game of Thrones, the series adaptation of GRR Martin’s fantasy books may have come to an end, but the story that takes place in the fantasy world is not yet over. A Game of Thrones prequel is in the works and the pilot episode has been filmed.
The prequel is still untitled and is said to be set thousands of years before the events of Game of Thrones during the era of the first man and the child of the forest. This information suggests that this prequel is set long before Westeros existed and before the establishment of our favourite houses. However, there is a high possibility that we may see Winterfell and the first of the Starks since they Winterfell was built by Bran the Builder during the age of heroes.
